multi-disciplinary artist non-profit arts consultant

HEATHER HARTLEY is a multi-disciplinary artist and arts advocate. Her body of creative work spans more than 25 years and crosses boundaries between performance, dance and visual installation. THE KNOT

Heather and her long term collaborator, Casey Murtaugh, formed The Knot in Chicago, IL in 2009 to explore the intersection of performance and visual art installation. To date, the two women have co-created ten interdisciplinary works together in Chicago and New York, and continue to delve into the process of artistic discovery and create new work together across geographic distance.
